The Geo-Mechanics and Geo-Imaging Laboratory is a research laboratory at the University of North Florida.  This well equipped laboratory is used for soil characterization, rock characterization, and shallow geophysical characterization studies for geotechnical site characterization.

Nick Hudyma, PhD PE
Dr. Hudyma is a professor in the civil engineering program at the University of North Florida.  His research interests include laboratory characterization of rock and soil, ground penetrating radar for site characterization and infrastructure assessment, and imaging applications for geotechnical engineering.
